hi i have a question about the L12 linear actuator. its a 12V and i want to install it in my car for a small door to open and close can i use this product and can i wire it to a 3 way switch? if yes what else would i need?

Yes you can - but make sure you choose the right version. In your case you would likely need the -S version (refer to the L12 user guide for an explanation of each type). Other than that you’re good to go.

The analog version has a built-in potentiometer which you won’t use. Once again, you may prefer -S (open loop control with limit switches). You’d need a 100mm stroke (3.9") , which should be able to move ~3 pounds.
