L12 Linear Actuator 100mm 100:1 12V Limit Switch Product Code : RB-Fir-74

I have a university project that needs a linear actuator. The first question is that what is the input that this actuator accepts ? Is it 0-5 V or 0-10 V ? The second question is what controller must be used with this actuator ? Can I use an arduino or a pololu ? Or do you recommend a certain controller that this actuator only functions with ? Can such controllers output the input voltage ? Can you provide me with the prices of everything mentioned in this message ? HOPE YOU REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS I’M BEHIND MY PROJECT AND NEED TO GET EVERYTHING AT THE MOMENT. Thank you.

Hello @7mood!

The RB-Fir-74 can be controlled by sending 12V to either of it’s wires. Reversing the polarity will cause the actuator to either retract or expand. If you want to use an Arduino, I suggest that you try wiring it to a relay or Mosfet capable of driving 12V at 500mA

The limit switches will stop the actuator’s course when it ends.
