Kudos to Lynxmotion

Just a few things I wanted to say:

I bought my first Lynxmotion kit, a Hexapod 1, roughly 10 years ago and it really sparked my interest into robotics, turning my interest into an actual hobby. Since then I’ve picked up a pair of Hexapod 2 kits (the oldschool yellow ones) and have built 2 quadrapods using Lynxmotion parts. Then after a couple year hiatus for school and work, I came back and picked up a Johnny 5 kit + a good amount of other various parts. I just wanted to share my experiences with Lynxmotion’s staff and products. The products and kits have always been outstanding, and Jim and family are always there to help. The Servo Erector Set is a truly innovative robotics system that has helped me build exactly what I’ve had in mind since childhood. Again, big kudos to Jim and family, thanks for continuing to provide outstanding products to the hobby robotics community.

PS: I’ll be giving J5 a friend in the form of a Phoenix when the wife permits :stuck_out_tongue:

Ditto Tyberius! LM is awesome. It seems like the whole hobby robot shop people are all great people. Jim is no exception to this. I’ve bought a Humanoid Biped kit about two years ago and have since converted to the CH3-R, which I consider my masterpiece.

I have an I-Sobot, Bioloid (Humanoid configuration), and the CH3-R currently. I consider the CH3-R to be my top-of-the-line robot because the fit and finish of the CH3-R is in a whole new category from the other two.

The aluminum is high quality and any “plastic” is a lexan, can’t ask for more high grade materials then those for hobby robotics.

Jim and LM constantly innovates their products as well as comes up with new ones and I’m always excited to see what comes out of LM next.

The greatest thing is, the communication. We can directly communicate with the manufacturer/head honcho through this forum easily, not sure if other robot manufacturers are this accessible…

Thanks for the great product and services, LM!
