Kossel XL 3D printer

Hi All,

I have recently bought this 3D printer (Kossel XL) online and exclude from the kit I bought the 0.9 step angle stepper with the  DRV8825 Pololu drivers from Pololu.com. I have spent almost 4 weeks on building this printer and now that I have programed this 3D printer I noticed that the motors are acting string. I’m pretty new to arduino, but from what can I say is that the steppers don’t move and sometimes get stuck when I send the g-codes, Also they warm up and they continue to make some wired sounds like that they want to do something but are not allowed to do so. The kit came with the 3x 200Rev/Min nema 17 motors, 1.8 step angle, Holding Torque of 48N.cm and 5mm Diameter Drive Shaft, but I have not used them. I have used the 0.9 step angle and I used different drivers for the servos. I’m I missing something or I’m I doing something wrong here? I have attached the code below. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave,

As jinx pointed out, sorta,

your steppers may be stalling. The other problem could be that your .9 degree steppers don’t have enough torque. While it is doubtful you failed to include that bit of info in your post, so, I felt I should at least mention it as possible.
