I am interested in buying the roboard 110 to allow autonomous control of my khr-3hv robot. Can I program motions using the com3 port and the libkondo port and directly control the RCB-4hv. Or do I have to build some electronic component to control it? Or can I use the dual purpose usb that came with the kondo robot?

Just to confirm, you are talking about this version of the libkondo library, correct?
If so, then it should be possible to do this. You would need to have an OS that has the libusb library, like Ubuntu or Debian. Instructions for installing one of these on the RoBoard can be found here: Ubuntu or Debian.
You can then connect your RCB-4HV to the RoBoard using the provided USB-to-serial cable. You should be able to use the example program as a starting point.
