4 years after making my balancing bliepbot, i planned to make a Johnny-five-like robot.
I still had some parts from bliepbot: nimh batteries, parallax motor-wheel kit, L6203 driver boards, i/o boards...
I wanted to share some pictures of my work in progress.
Until now i have a three wheeled frame with batteries, two drive motors, one motor to lift the body, working laptop parts for the chest, a lot of printed pla plastic, bearings and threaded rods.
The height until now is 75cm, could be 1m when finished.
The head and arms are missing (work in progress).
I plan to add some us sensors, camera, motor drivers, pic controllers, microphone, speakers, compass... and software (remote control, text to speech, face recognition, environment mapping).
New ideas ,comments and suggestions are welcome.
I also need a name for my new robot.
