HELP! I am currently working on a standard Johnny 4 robot, using a BotBoard 2, Basic Atom pro, SSC-32 and Playstation 2 controller to control him. All I want to do is to get data from the PlayStation 2 controller attached to the BotBoard, and pass it on to the SSC-32. I know how to, and am able to, send commands to the SSC-32. Can someone please show me some code for Basic Atom Pro that will get ALL data from PS2 controller and put it all into it’s own variables (i.e. - Button_L1 is the state of L1)??? PLEASE??? All the code I write does not respond, or tries to burn up the servos. Any help will be greatly appreciated. By the way, if you want to be really helpful, just ask and I will send you the PS2 to servo map I wrote (Hint: I am using SELECT as a shift to control all aspects of J5.
The latest programs that have been developed for the PS2 using the Atom Pro will be found in the A4WD1 and Phoenix tutorials. If you can study them enough to learn how they work it would be a great start to realizing the program you want to create.
