Hello @solveit68 and welcome to our forum.
We are sorry to hear about the problem.
Can you please share few photos of broken part?
Thank you.
Hello,
in the manual I found the indication that it could be a socket of type
xh2.54-ls-5p.
However, I have not yet found this component at any dealer.
Can someone possibly tell me a dealer for this component in Germany?
Thank you.
Yes and unfortunately no, I have not yet found a dealer where the component looks like the picture.
Only the usual standard plugs and sockets. I now hope for a delivery directly from Rotrics.
Do you know a dealer and the correct article name?
Sorry, that picture doesn’t look like a jst xh housing.
Maybe, if you can replace both sides of the connection, you can replace it with a 5pole/2.54mm pitch connector pair. (like jst xh)
Or simply solder wires directly?
What part is connected with this adapter? A stepper motor or servo?
It’s the dexarm module connector for the laser engraving/3d-printing module and so on.
And of course I want to exchange the modules at any time, so soldering is no solution.
It should be either the same socket or at least a compatible socket.
You’d have to change the connector on all the modules to make it interchangeable. Won’t be an issue, since usually you’d have to buy a lot of these connectors. (lot of 10 is often minimum order quantity)
Otherwise you have a nice looking paperweight unless someone recognizes this connector…
Did you try to contact the maker?
Yes, of course.
They send me a link to a manual where I found the xh2.54-ls-5p. information.
Currently, I have been waiting for a spare part delivery from China for a few weeks, in which the spare part could be.
