I am helping a user (from long distance) program the IZIrobot and we can not get the input modules to respond to any input. this is both the touch sensor and the switches. We have used one of the example programs in the manual but nothing happens we we touch the sensor or click one of the switches. Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions?

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. Troubleshooting from a distance will not be easy. It is possible that either the code does not correspond to the sensor being used, or that the code simply does not give an output. The best output module to test is the LED module (quick visual feedback). Ensure every step in the manual pertaining to setup and installation has been followed, and the code (starting at page 20/46 in the guide) corresponds to the LED module. The code can be as simple as program start -> LED (timed) -> End. If this works, then the board works and it is a matter or code.
