Issues with group move

I am using thSSC-32U with an Xbee. 80% of the time when I am doing a group move of my sevos thay are all moving together. However 20% of the time only 1 or 2 will move instead of all three. I am also hearing a noise as if one or more of the servos had a problem completing the last move. I tried the cancel move command on the servo I thought had not completed the move to no avail. Is there any way to stop a servo if it has not completed a move and also what could cause a servo to not complete a move? These are servos supplied by lynxmotion. Could it be a voltage issue?

Thanks

Hi,

Please note that when transmitting to the SSC-32U, no error correction is performed on the data sent (it is assumed good). Therefore, if there is any data corruption, it will not work. For example, maybe one of the servo position command shows up to the SSC-32U as invalid in your group move but the others are fine. This could cause such an issue.
Is it always the same servo not completing the move? Does it move at all or just partially move?

If it moves partially then stops, it could indicate a potential power issue.

As for cancelling a command, this is done indirectly by sending a different command to the same servomotor channel. For example, if you wish to cancel a command to a servomotor on channel #3, you could send any position command to that channel, such as “#3P1500**" or "#3P0**”. Please note that sending a servomotor to position “0” simply deactivates that output (also causes most RC servomotors to stop holding the position).

Sincerely,
