Okay, after seeing CTC's post (https://www.robotshop.com/letsmakerobots/node/27139) which was great, I became interested with the screen he used.(http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10090) So after a little thinking for what I could use it for, I decided that I would make it record video from a small camra and show it back on the screen when I signal it to do so. After that I researched that idea and it looked easy enough, so what I am asking is "Is that possible to do?" I don't need to know how to do it but just need to know is it possible or is my idea full of hot air...
Thanks,
Joe
That is not possible
Or at least not in real time.
You can however, record as many videos as you would like and add them to the SD card of the screen. From there, you can play them back whenever you would like.
To be honest, I am not fully aware of all the formats the screen can deal with. I have converted all my videos to animated GIF’s and they worked beautifully.
Okay, Thanks
To bad I can’t do that, but I think I might get that screen anyway to play with. Is this the first project you used yours in?
Nope
I have had the little 1.44" version for quite a while now. It was actually liberated from a transmitter project and was donated to the little bot.
