Is this a solid piece? S3M 42 Tooth Timing Pulley FINGERTECH ROBOTICS SKU: RB-Ftr-31

Hello,

New to this forum. I had a question about a product that is listed for sale on “robotshop”

Could anyone please let me know if the pulley is a solid piece of aluminum or if it is hollow?
I will need to bore out the center to 2mm thick with a diameter of 19.60mm then bore out all of the center to 12.70mm. I just need to know if this is a solid piece(the red part) or if the middle is hollow?

Finally and this is not necessary but would be nice…
Does anyone have a drawing or CAD file of a S3M or HTD 42T Pulley that I can use as a template to design a printable version of exactly what I need.

Thanks

Found out part of my question.

Fingertech website has CAD files of the pulleys they sell loaded on their website in .STEP format.

I don’t have CAD but maybe I can get a free version and mess with it, not sure exactly what is in the file if I can see what is in the file maybe that would answer my question about if it’s a solid piece.
I used an online viewer and it showed the pulley but had no specs, maybe because it was just a viewer…

Hi @Arsenal2012 and welcome to our forum!

Here is a reply from Fingertech support:

The pulley is as pictured. The red is solid aluminum with a 3mm bore and a setscrew through the hub. The silver plated steel flanges are pressed on.

From how I understand the customer’s question, they should be able to do what they have described. (2mm thick with a diameter of 19.60mm then bore out all of the center to 12.70mm)

CAD files of FingerTech products are on our product pages, under a CAD tab on each description: FingerTech S3M Timing Pulley

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anything else.
