Is this a complete list?

We want to order the parts to put together a mobile robot that can have various sensors, line following and gripping capabilities (using Arduino).
Coleman suggested some starting basic hardware. Below is the list that we have for purchase. We have 2 chassis below, are they compatible with the other items on the list? Which Chassis is more versatile?
Which Gripper works better with the chassis? the Lynx motion or large robot gripper? Do we need to order extra servos for the gripper?

What else do we need?

It’s up to you if you want a rechargeable battery pack or use the AA holders.
The A4WD1 gripper kit includes the gripper. The mounting is not intended for these two platforms, but it should not be hard to figure something out.
Not sure where / how to mount the large robot gripper though.
You’ll need a soldering iron and some solder to connect the motor wires to the motor pins (delicate, so be careful!).
Otherwise, that’s a good combination of parts to get started. The 2WD rover would work well with encoders:

So I should drop the large robot gripper? Which AA holder should I order? Which platform is better for enhancement?

The AA holder should be included with each platform.
The large gripper is nice, but quite “general use”. It’s really up to you if you want it, but there’s already a gripper with the other kit.
In terms of enhancements, it’s just a matter of space / size. The 2WD platform is nice because having two wheels reduces friction in turns, and makes it easier to turn on the spot. The slight disadvantage is that the frame is a bit smaller.
