I have brat robot now 
and i want to start using but i dont have bot board 2 and i dont want to buy because i have basic stamp 2 board
can i use the brat programs directly with my board? is there any difference ?
The Bot Board 2 is not a Microcontroller, but instead is a holder for a Microcontroller such as the Basic Stamp 2. In most cases currently at Lynxmotion the BB2 holds a Basic AtomPro 28. The BAP28 has a version of Basic that is very similar to the BS2, but there are differences. My guess there may be some version of code out there that runs on a BS2. But if I remember correctly it is not as powerful as the BAP.
