Is rootooth compatibile with roomba 4210 model

Hi,
I have a roomba discovery 4210 model and I am interested in getting the rootooth and learning how to control the roomba from my computer, but would like to know if the rootooth is compatibile with tghe roomba 4210 discovery model before I go and spend the $100 for the rootooth. If anyone can point me in the right direction here is would be REALLY appreciated.

Welcome to the RobotShop forum. The Rootooth is absolutely compatible with the Roomba 4210. The Rootooth is compatible with all Roombas from the Discovery (4XX and 4XXX) and the 500 series (5XX).

All you need to verify is that your robot has the version 2.1 upgrade for it to be able to communicate. If your robot was manufactured before August 1st 2005, your robot will need the upgrade, which can be purchased from the manufacturer.

To be able to use the Rootooth you will also need a bluetooth USB dongle.
