Is it possible to determine the direction of rotation of the motor before power is supplied?

Hello.

As I was assembling the rover, I was curious about the comments on the following page.
It says this:
“CAUTION: Before powering the motors, ensure they rotate in the same direction on each side. If the wiring between the motors and the Sabertooth was done correctly, the motors on each side of the robot should rotate in the same direction.”

How can I know the direction of rotation before power is applied?

I agree that this “warning” is a bit misleading since you need to power the motors to know the direction they turn.
This message is just to ensure all motor Positive and Negative are connected correctly and turn in the same direction.
