Hi everyone! I’m new to this robot building game and I built a couple of pretty simple robots using Mechano when I was younger! Now I have an idea for robot as a gift. Now here’s the tricky bit. I was wondering if it is possible to build or install a micro/macro projector into the robot, as I would like it to project and play movies and music. The even trickier bit is I wanted to be able to have it so it could fold up into a box within itself. I know it sounds ridiculous, even impossible, but is there a way of building it or something similar? Oh boy, I feel dumb even asking, but I have this idea, but it’s the design and implimentation I’m battling with right now. I’ve gone through about five draft pads trying to draw a design worthy of such a project. Help?! Thanks if you can (in advance). But also thanks if you can’t help. Maybe I’m aiming a little high here, but I’m on a timescale of about a year, and it would be awesome to present them with a cute and different gift. They love robots! 
It’s certainly possible to include a micro / pico projector - you just need to provide it the right voltage and enough current. Most projectors operate on DC voltage, so just choose the corresponding battery and ideally DC gear motors which operate at the same voltage. Making it fold into itself is a different issue and is much more mechanical - you’ll need to draft a design.
