IR sensor

I'm trying to get the code for my robot right, but it is now working.

The sensors are connect to the digital inputs 6 and 7 from the 28x1 picaxe projectboard.

If i program that only the motors are turning the sensor's are "saying" that there's something infront of the robot but there is nothing.

What am i doing wrong?

Oddbot has a good point

But I would suggest trying a 100 nF (.1uF) ceramic cap across each motor terminals first and if that doesn’t fix it. Attack the problem at the sensor like he suggested. Here’s a good link to describe the methods.
