IR sensor array problem!

I'm working on a line follower and have run into  a problem with the sensor module!

I'm using an array of 5 IR leds and photodiode that gives inputs to 3 LM358s (2 sensors per chip)...the problem I'm facing is that the last IR leds pair doesnt seem to be giving any output. The other 4  leds work perfectly though and all have identical connections.

I've narrowed down the problem to the sensor board since I've tested the board with the LM358's successfully. It also isn't a IR led problem since it seems to be emitting properly when  checked with a camera...and I've also tested the photodiode before soldering.

Here's a picture of the sensor  board :

The pair on the exreme left is the one that doesn't give any output.

Here's a picture of the board with the LM358's...no problem on this board (I've already tested it  many times)

Heres the board when it detects black..or no reflection :

and here it is when it detects a white surface (all LEDs should be off) :

So that's the problem I'm facing...the last IR led pair doesnt seem to be giving any input to the L358.

Here's the diagram of the connections I've soldered on the Led board :

Would be grateful for a solution to this problem !

Thanks for the reply !Nope

Thanks for the reply !

Nope haven’t connected the photodiode backwards (made sure of that before posting the question :stuck_out_tongue: ) and I also tested the photodiode on a breadboard before connecting it…is there an easy way to check it without desoldering?

If it helps, I measured the voltage at the o/p and got no change for black or white.
