IR Emitter and Receivers for Laser Tag like system

Hello,
I would like to build a laser tag like vehicle.
planning to buy the below emitter and receiver modules.

does anyone know if they will do?
can they be connected to Arduino UNO / DFRobot Rover board?

Hi,

The DFRobot Digital IR Receiver Module and DFRobot Infrared Emitter will probably work fine with the DFRobotShop Rover or an Arduino UNO board.
Here is the IR Library you may need, the datasheet for the receiver and the datasheet for the emitter.
You may also consider this DFRobot IR Remote Kit for Arduino.
