Hi LMR! in need some help with a ir opponent detector. how do you make 38khz signal from a picaxe?

Yep, irout does it, but you also have to send 12 (or somethint) data bits with that command. If you just want pwm generation then go for pwmout.

ps: in case you go for pwmout, there’s a “pwm wizard” in the menu bar in the picaxe editor that helps you out with period calculations.
