I checked Invenscience web page and there is little info on their 12V Torxis motors which are also being sold here through Lynxmotion. What are the aditional two wires that connect to such motor. Except red, yellow and black that should go to controllers, there are aditional two. Do these two go to 12V source and red/yellow/black are just for signals from controllers such as SSC-32 ? Considering that SSC-32 is 6V output and Torxis motor is 12V, do those two aditional wires provide some kind of amplification for 3 wires from 6V SSC-32 controller or what ? Is it even possible to control Torxis motor from SSC-32 and RIOS instead of HiTec motors and how do I wire that to SSC-32 ?
Thanks for any help.
…Edit: Just to add, what I’d like to do is more or less build similar robot arm as AL-series but with more powerful motors, linearly larger in scale and would like to know if it could be controlled just from SSC-32 and RIOS with as little as possible modifications…
I think it has two power wires, which I believe supply the main power to it as you probably don’t want to draw that much current from your normal (SSC-32 power bus). Then it has the standard servo wire that it uses to get the control signals…
…ok, thanks. Here’s another picture with it being open from some other site:
It says there’s some jrk 21v3 motor controller inside that can be connected to PC via usb to reprogram some features. Any replies from anyone who has bought these motors or used them with SSC-32 are welcome…
