I am using XP in a HP530 SFF (small Form Factor) and an Nvidia 5200 card. I somehow managed to get the free version to work. As I don’t use PCs often I don’t remember how but when I used the desktop shortcut it opens and runs normally (low graphics that i adjusted, I just dont remember how) , when I open through the applications list at the start it runs the original heavy graphics version it is too graphics heavy. Anyone know why ? Should I upgrade past XP or is it still possible to use it?

Ok Im buying the full flowbotics studio on CD. I know I can get it to run at by dropping it in the startup folder , what I need is it to autorun the premade flowbotics program PC startup. I am assuming I can get the media player to run the same way to run my audio but can flowbotics run a second application ? Anyone here had experience with this ?

So I need:
1)Low drag graphics
2)auto run a specific flowbotics program

And last the motor in the base is a mosfet based motor controller made to run off typical servo wiring (white red black) . It works perfectly of a standard servo controller. It is built on a merotac 630 slip ring so it can spin endlessly. I am wondering about whether I should or could build a homemade potentiometer to get a home position.

Hi,

Using FlowBotics Studio you can export your app into an executable (.exe). From there, you can have that run in the Startup folder. At this time, there is no way to auto-run a FBS (FlowBotics Studio) app from within FBS directly without manual interaction.

You can read more about exporting your app in the FBS user manual on pages 92-95.

If you have not purchased FBS yet, we recommend that you instead obtain the downloadable version, available here.

Sincerely,

Ok, I did just what you suggested. I got the downloadable. It opens just fine and seems to run perfectly visually if I click the desktop link. I need to make a backup of everything now. . I will go over the export, thanks,

I am running two 12V DC motors on a gear reduction system in the base. The power comes from big amp 12v 85 amp computer power supply in the base through a Novak Super Rooster reversible speed control run by the SSC32U and it runs perfectly. My only problem is this, for some reason the graphics are disrupted by the motors running ( the computer runs fine and is still in control ) . I have three 1uf noise suppressors on each motor and I am wondering if anyone else has had that kind of issue. CPU is running fine, the graphics just black out with the motor wide open. Hmmm
