If you want to use a switch as an input you can wire it as shown, and use the - pin on the “B” input row and it works fine. This is not very intuitive for HS students, as they want to wire it right next door, in the same column, but the the pin there is +. Could I also wire it so that I pull ground from one of the unused servo headers?
Also, in the next iteration of the SSC-32 are the inputs going to be labelled the same in the software and on the board? For example: screen print 1234 instead of ABCD on the board, or change the numbers in the software to ABCD?
Thanks Jim! That’ll make life a little easier! How about while you are at it, make the outputs in the software match the numbers stenciled on the board as well. ie: 8 is really 1 ect…
