Initial PAJ7620U2 failure! Gesture recognition sensor (PAJ7620U2)

Hi, I’m using a “Gesture recognition sensor (PAJ7620U2)” that I’ve connected to a “ATOM Lite ESP32 IoT Development Kit”. In Arduino’s software, I use GESTURE_PAJ7620U2 library that I tried to adapt for the M5Atom, but I can’t figure out why It keeps saying “initial PAJ7620U2 failure!” in my console log. Here’s my code

Hi @Antoine_H and welcome to our forum.

I would first check electrical connections between these modules.

Could you share some photos of the actual setup?

Did you maybe try also UIFlow unit example from here to confirm if the problem is the code or the sensor?

In the end, if nothing works, please write to [email protected] and they will help you with troubleshooting or repair/exchange.
