Indoor Navigation Positioning System

Hello,

I have built a robot using an Arduino and the Agent 390 platform. I am interested in purchasing the: Indoor Navigation Positioning System Starter Set but am confused an to the pros and cons of the different systems. Could you tell me a little more about why someone would choose
the 433MHz system over the 915MHz system. etc.

Also, how well does it interface with the Arduino and do you have tech docs that explain that?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Paul Fechtmeister

Hi Paul!

Here are answers to your questions & comments:

This mostly comes down to RF regulations in your area, since the wireless signal is only really used for communication between the modules, not actual localization. You can see a more detailed answer here.

You can typically find technical documentation on the product page under Useful Links. Also, page 50 of the manual does indicate they have a Arduino integration example available on their web site.
Here are links to the four examples they currently have:

]Arduino sample code – sending path to robot/:m]
]Arduino sample code – get distances to beacons/:m]
]Arduino sample code – UART interface/:m]
]Arduino sample code – SPI interface/:m]

And the Marvelmind hedgehog Arduino interface tutorial with all the details.

We hope this helps!

Sincerely,
