Independently powered Remote Switch Thingamajig - Ideas?

I want to Open/Close a very low power circuit remotely from 50 feet away. Currently I have to walk to the device and manually connect/disconnect a jumper using alligator clips.

Specifically - I need an independently powered remote circuit switcher to open/close a wire that is around 30AWG and carries a 10 Watt Radio signal.

Ideally a key fob type device and something powered by a single AA or CR-2032 battery. The use is for Ham Radio use and I have to hike it up mountains so size and weight matter.

Is there a name for these types of switches? I would imagine they are used for controlling robotic movement at a short distance.

Any and all advice welcome. Thank you.

Hello @BrianInCa and welcome to the forum,

You could use a Radio Controlled Relay Switch and you’ll also need the transmitter, receiver, and battery (probably a 4-cell NiCd battery which is 4.8V or a 5-cell pack (NiCd or NiMh) which is 6V)
