I’m making this improved mailbox where the packages you receive would automatically get their QR codes scanned.
I wanted to see if there was anyway to implement this laser


into a mobile app so I’m able to scan the package and have it send notifications to my app

This rotational LIDAR is meant for mapping and object detection/collision avoidance. It cannot scan QR codes.

I’d recommend looking at camera-based sensors for QR code scanning instead.
