I just received my new Winbot W2 Omni on 5/24/24. My home has many windows, so the problem is, the winbot w2 omni can only operate off its battery. I am on my third recharge of the battery, and the charging process takes 2 to 3 hours each time, and I’m still not finished cleaning all my windows. The robot cleans good, but the recharging of the battery to continue the cleaning is a disappointment. There’s a plug on the robot to plug it into a outlet, but it’s only to recharge the battery, …not to continue using the robot to finish cleaning the windows. That’s a major design flaw! It only works on battery power, and not wall AC power, …it should work on both! The other thing that bothers me, is the Bluetooth only connection to the mobil app, …it keeps disconnecting because my phone is too far away from the window it’s cleaning, …it should of had WiFi connection also. But if I had known the drawbacks this robot has, … Would I have bought it, YES, …it works good!

Hi @ronronjag and welcome to our forum and thank you for this detailed review
I am also thinking of buying a robotic window cleaner!
Robotic window cleaners are definitely changing how we think about home maintenance. Instead of struggling with ladders, streaks, and hard-to-reach spots, these devices handle the task with smart sensors and automated movement. They save both time and effort, especially for larger glass areas or high-rise apartments. It’s interesting to see how quickly this technology is becoming a practical part of modern households.
