I’m trying to make a 5kg sumo shunter battlebot for a club me and my friend are making and we found you ant thought you would be a good part supplier but I have no idea what type of drivetrain motor I need. It needs to be 9 to 12 volts with lots of torque and about 90 to 110 RPM. It needs to be compact and wide not long. Do you have any suggestions for me please? Thank you.
How many motors you want to install in this robot? Meaning, will it be 4WD, so there is a motor on each of the wheels, or maybe 2WD, with only two motors running?
Do you want to know the position of these motors, meaning, do you need an encoder?
Since you mentioned that overall dimensions of the robot are 30x20x7cm, I guess one motor would need to be shorter than 10cm in order to fit.
