You can still study electronics. Maybe you can save towards some basic electronics lab kit or other. Even if you absolutely can not afford to buy anything physical at all, there are online circuit simulators that could teach you a lot of theory.
Robotics can be a fairy expensive hobby. Even tho these past few years, things have gotten better and cheaper. But even when you’re a grown man, you’re still going to have to juggle real world expenses, like food, transportation, clothing and a place to live; with the price of parts and such. Someday you’ll probably have to answer to a wife as to where the money goes. Unless you marry someone who’s really understanding–Like Mrs ChrisTheCarpenter.
