I finally figured out what the hole spacing on the 3D models is that Lynxmotion has available for download! I can now model parts or create new parts that are compatible with the Lynxmotion 3D models! I’ve already attached legs created with the Lynxmotion models to a body I designed for my crawler/walker robots.
I can now also use parts that don’t currently seem to work right in the Lynxmotion 3D model set, because I can model my own parts.
I have already done this for the AHC-03 hexagonal hub, and have changed the hole spacing. Now I have an AHC-03 that actually lets me connect things to all 6 faces of the part!

And you’re keeping it all to yourself? Cruel.
If you’d like me to post the model so everyone can download it, just email it to me.
No, of course I won’t keep it to myself.
The spacing between the smaller 0.047" radius holes and the larger 0.158" radius holes in the Lynxmotion hole pattern is 0.3280". As soon as I double check the new AHC-03 model with the different hole spacing and make sure it mates with Lynxmotion models on all six faces, I will send it to you in a STEP file.

I just send ahc-03.zip with three files - STEP 214, IGES, and native Alibre Design part. Let me know if you did not get it. Now that I know I can create Lynxmotion part compatible models, I can see about fixing other model problems, like with the HUB-09 and servo.
I am already working on a new servo model. I just finished the top cover, which mates to all 4 holes perfectly on the asb-04 bracket.
