Here is a preliminary concept hexapod I have been fooling around with. It’s smaller than the CH3-R and the chassis is oval. It’s larger than the Phoenix. The legs are standard SES so it’s stronger. I’m making custom tibias that incorporate ground contact switches. I will make another post for that. Little guy is kinda cute.
Cool! He looks like a strong little bastard!
I liked your pan/tilt head too. A possible kit with endless possibilites not restrictred with Phoenix’s small body.
When are we going to se him walk? (He is a he, isn’t he? )
It’ll sure look better with “ou naturel” tibia’s! Looking forward to a new kit.
If only it was 8 legged! There are no octopod (or octapod) standard kits to collaborate on.
This thing is beautiful!! The SES parts really make it strong! You should place it next to a “normalâ€
Me likes!!! Put me down for one when the kit is ready!
What if you were to use the ‘long’ “C” brackets for the tibia, for a little extra range? And what if you flip the HipV servo? Would that gain you anything?
I’d be interested in getting a octopod as well.

This is a nice little hexapod for the SES family. I like it!
