New to the forum. In my role we are reselling robots to seal ductwork from the inside. The current equipment we use is a base inspection unit with attachments for cleaning and sealing. It works very well, but what we have found is due to 1st costs there is honestly minimal adoption at this time. I have done quite a lot of research for a low cost entry level model and mid level model option to add to our current offering, but have come up with minimal options on the sealing side. The biggest features needed in the industry segment I work in is simplicity, easy setup, easy to control, easy to clean and maintain. Any thoughts or ideas for manufacturers that can offer something comparable? I did talk to Traxxas as they are in our backyard and they were interested in the inspection and cleaning side, but shied away from the spraying side. Any help/ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and kind regards.Frank

What are your dimensional constraints, and how much do you think people will spend on such a system?
Does it need to be tethered? Any other factors / criteria would help.

See the following links. The TDS (technical data sheet) - carlislehvac.com/view.aspx? … tentID=310. This system will cover ductwork up to 24" in height and costs over $11K to the end customer. We also offer a larger size that can go up to 48" tall ductwork, but the price practically doubles. The systems are tethered as these are being used within sheet metal duct. The tether also allows retrieval if the user accidentally drives the unit from a horizontal duct to vertical duct. Dimensional constraints - the smallest duct we currently can work in is 8" x 8", and around 8" to 10" for round duct. If we had a unit that would work in 6" and up, that would be ideal. On the cost side, if we can get the cost to around the cost of the airless sprayer system we offer there would be greater sales. That is around $5900 to $6000. Since RobotShop does not offer design or customization services, the closest option we could offer would be the following, which does not offer any cleaning attachments:

It is tethered, so if you are able to create a custom attachment which connects to a small diameter, high pressure hose, you might have something which better suits your needs.
The price however increases. Dragging a pipe full of water is not easy for small robots.
