Just purchased a Hunter mini frame kit that arrived today. I have pulled down a 250 quad and used the components on the Mini. However, as soon as it gets airborne it just spins, flat (yaw axis), out of control, quite quickly and in both directions. Not sure what is going on, as the set-up worked fine on the other frame.
Set-up is:
KK Board 2.0 with V-Tail motor layout
Turnigy Multistar 1704-1900 Motors
Turnigy Plush 10A ESCs
Standard 6" Carbon Fibre props, balanced
Futaba R616FFM Rx amd 8FG Super Tx
I found that page and put those values in, however the cartwheeling was even worse. I did go through the mixer editor and swap all the rudder values from Positive to Negative and vice versa. This fixed the cartwheeling, however, it has now picked up a wobble and is very unstable. I have fiddled with all the mixer values and PIs, but can’t fix it. Its an awesome looking little bird, but so unstable at the moment…

Just changed my 1510 motors on the mini to 2211-2300kv motors (1806 stator) and run 6x3 props on the front and 5x4 on the back. Flies fantastic and after building quads for 7 years I can say this one has been the most fun to fly for me.
Can you take pictures ? would be nice to see that baby.
