I am trying to find the available torque on this hub motor:

Hi @gogden
this Wikipedia page and the motordata from your motor can tell you all:
Honestly right now I’m too tired to calculate it for you, but it’s all there…
Your Torqueconstant (kT) should be : 0.159 Nm (please anybody correct me if I’m wrong)
Multiply kT with the momentary current through the motor and you get the momentary Torque.
Remember the momentary current can be much higher than max. Amps (22A) during acceleration (rule of thumb is 3x).
So you can expect 10Nm+ burst or ~3.5Nm at max. Amps
Specifications
Motor KV: 60(RPM/V) Hole Size: M8 Idle Current: 0.4A Max. Current: 22A Input Volt: 24V‐36V Max. Output Wat: 800W RPM: 2100 Motor Weight: 950g Internal Resistance: 0.557 Ohm
Great thanks. This really helps.
