Does this motor and all motors run in both directions?

Yes, all DC motor can turn in both directions.
You simply need to reverse the polarity at the terminals of the motors to make it change direction.
You can do that in a few different ways (relays, switches, etc.) but in robotics we normally use what is known as an “H-Bridge”:
It is an electronic circuit that allows you to control a DC motor (normally speed and direction can be controlled).
