First off, you guys seem to be a lot more intellegable than me, great forum here.
I am building a model boat and want a servo that continually rotates.
Does this servo work with standard R/C equipment?
Does anyone know how this servo reacts to controls? I am a little weary about how it interprets a stick movement. Is it proportional or is it command based.
Yes, a continuous-rotation servo still works with standard R/C equipment. Instead of the “go to a position and hold” behavior you are used to, you get a motor that will sit still when sent a command to be centered, and will spin one way or another depending on which side of center you are commanding it to go with the radio’s stick. This response is proportional to some extent - a slight nudge will make it turn slowly, while a larger deflection will make it turn at its top speed.
