HS-7955TG - Servo Info (Potentiometer)

Hi All,

I have two of those on order to make a camera Gimbal.

I would like to order a potentiometer to do an external pot setup and wonder if anybody could give me the ohm value of the stock one ? (inside)
So i can order one before to save time.

ServoCity told me it is 5K

I think most servo pots are ~5k ohms. This value probably can be changed if needed as the wiper voltage will generally be ~supply voltage when at the supply end of the pot, and ~0v when at the ground end of the pot, no matter what the resistance across the supply/ground pins of the pot.

btw: i have to order the servo and would like to get them from RobotShop Canada but they are quite higher than elsewhere (not saying here). Do you have some kind of match price policy ?

Buying from RobotShop still means you’re buying from Lynxmotion :slight_smile:

We try to stick to the MSRP, but if you see a site where the price is lower, we’ll certainly take a look. If you see two or more sites, we’ll likely need to update our pricing.
