Hello folks
I recently started a project (biped walker) and I am getting slightly worried and annoyed about this buzzing sound that’s coming out of my servos when they are under load.
At first I thought it was the battery I was using (I was using Li-mh 7.2V 6Cell) so I ordered a new battery (Li-mh 5 Cell 6V) but the buzz sound is still there!
Did anyone else experience this issue?

The whine is the servo trying to hold position under load. The only thing you can do to improve this is to make sure your servos are centered and positioned so that there is the least amout of load possible, for example making sure the center of gravity is inline with the servo shaft rather than to either side if it, or the weight is inline with the servo shaft to help reduce the torque effects. It also helps that each servo is positioned so that one servo is not fighting against another. Other than that, there’s not to much else you can do.
