HQuad500 Motor Upgrade Options

Hello,

I currently have the Lynxmotion HQuad500 Drone (Base Combo Kit) (https://www.robotshop.com/en/lynxmotion-hquad500-drone-base-combo-kit.html) which come with Brushless Rotor Motor 1000Kv 15A (https://www.robotshop.com/en/brushless-rotor-motor-1000kv-15a.html).

I am looking to upgrade my motors to “stronger” ones which are compatible with my current frame.

Are the Brushless Rotor Motor 930Kv 28.9A (https://www.robotshop.com/en/brushless-rotor-motor-930kv-289a.html) considered stronger then the previous?

Does Robotshop sell anything else that is “stronger” and compatible?

Hi Eltan,

Those motors are more powerful but you will need bigger ESC’s as well as larger propellers.
