We have added drones to our high school STEM program; two Flamewheel with Naza flight controllers and two HQuad 500s with Quadrino flight controllers, both systems using separate Taranis x90 Plus radio controllers and separate FrSky x8R R/Ts.
We have been able to get the Flamewheels up and running; however the Qaudrino is giving us fits.

Baseed on the computer set up, everything with the Quadrino seems to be working properly; the binding for the radio controller and the X8R has been completed.

However we cannot get any response out for the motors.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Hi JParish,
Have you run all the steps in the Quadrino Nano User Manual ?
Also can you precise what you are doing to Arm the flight controller ?
Best regards,
Hello, @DiaLFonZo
We have completed all of the procedures in the user manual.
To arm the quad copter, in short, we move the left stick on the X9Dplus to the bottom right position. To disarm, we move the stick to the bottom left.
Exact arming procedure goes as follows:
- Plug the battery into the quad
2)Turn on the X9Dplus
3)Confirm the X9D and the quad are communicating. - Move the left stick to the bottom right position
5)Confirm the “arm” LED is lit on the flight controller.
When the flight controller is connected to the computer, it appears as if everything is working properly. (The motors show they are supposed to be receiving throttle in MultiWii)
Thank you for your time.
You should ALWAYS power up your transmitter first.
Not doing so might get the propellers turn and hurt someone.
If the “Arm LED” is ON on the flight controller, it is armed and should work.
The default setting for “Motor Turn” is OFF so the blades do not spin at “Arming” but if you raise the throttle they will start to spin.
Hello,
I tried turning the transmitter on first. It still does not work. After arming the drone, nothing happens. (The LEDS turn solid whenever the drone is armed)
Thank you for your time.
Again - Have you tried to raise the throttle ?
