How would I connect a battery to this thing

After you’re done laughing at the inanity of the question, please: How do I do that? I mean, what kind of battery(ies)? I don’t really understand the volts ohms watts thing. Two 9 volts? 4 Double D’s? No idea. Thanks!

Hi @LockedAway and welcome to our forum

We won’t laugh

Just tell us, for which product you need batteries? Have you bought it from us?

Please share a link to it if possible.

Thank you.

Thanks! It’s this thing here:

Hey @LockedAway !

Do you really have to use the batteries?

Because, this constant power supply would be a good fit:

Thanks, but I do need to wire it to batteries.

OK then, let’s choose a battery (we can use our guide for example: https://community.robotshop.com/tutorials/show/basics-how-do-i-choose-a-battery).

Anyway, blower needs voltage in range from 6V to 12V DC so we need battery in that range.

For how long would you like your blower to run, before batteries are empty?

For example, this battery, https://www.robotshop.com/en/12v-5a-battery-linear-actuators.html , could run it for 5 hours.

What size is that? Do you have one that could be carried on the body, even for less time (although 5 hours would be terrific!) Thanks for your help.

Rechargeable would be BOMB. <3

Yeah, we have a lot of smaller battery packs (this one that I proposed is not so suitable for carrying on the body). LiPo batteries are popular since they are light weight.

What is your budget for a battery source? You would also need to buy a charger.
