How to: use ssc-32 outputs as power source for IR reflector

Hi,
I have an IR reflector sensor which is a TCRT5000L:

Please explain me:
Can I use outputs of SSC-32 as its power source (how)?

The specs for the sensor say the IR LED can draw 60mA. I’m not sure if the board it’s connected to drives it that hard though. The SSC-32 can’t supply this much current on it’s I/O pins. I would recommend a simple switch.
