How to replace the 9V battery with a AC power cord?

Hi guys, as we know for the lyxnmotion arms the two power supplies are a 6V AC power cord and a 9V DC battery. I noticed that the 9V DC battery can be consumed rapidly (about 8 hours use ) and you have to replace the battery. Is it possible to replace the direct current battery with a AC power cord, using some adapters or modification? Thanks for the help!

You can always use another wall wart like the ones Lynxmotion sells: lynxmotion.com/p-830-regulat … 20amp.aspx

Needs to be more than 5V, but 6V should probably do it.

If you are using an ssc-32, check the status of the VS-VL jumper below. In your current setup using a 9v battery, the jumper should be removed. With the jumper installed, VS will supply VL if the voltage is high enough.

If you only have an SSC-32 (not a Bot Board or BotBoarduino), you can use either a second wall adapter or a voltage regulator.

A second wall adapter cord would be useful:

If you are using a microcontroller, you can feed the + and - pins of the SSC-32 directly at 5V from the microcontroller’s pins.
