How to place the oil seal in the side plate of an A4WD3?

Recently I tried to place the soil in the side plate of an A4WD3 kit, i.e. step 1 of the assembly (in the Lynxmotion assembly docu under the title “01 Frame Base”): 01 - Frame Base

However, I could not figure out a way without damaging the seal by somehow hammering it in. How is this supposed to be done properly, i.e. without seal damage?

Hi rasc1234,

The easiest way for Oil-Seal insertion is using a socket that is a little smaller size and hammer it in place.
