How to install the omni wheels on a omniWheel kit?

Hi,
I’m trying to install the 60mm omni wheels on a V2.0 Omniwheel kit. It’s the only step not described on the youtube video produced by RobotShop.

For each wheels, I only have a hexagonal metallic axle that barely fit in the motors (actually, it just don’t fit). Neither screws nor component to avoid the wheels fall off the axles.

Is there something missing in my kit?

Thank you for your support

Thank you for your quick support.
Unfortunatly, there were only two wheels and two aluminium axles per packet. No screws. I kept one of the packet close to prove the fact.

And now I see what’s the problem with the double-D shaft: there is some irregularities in the size of the openings… Some axles fit in the double-D shaft of the DC motors, some don’t, even if I press hard.

Can I send you back the 4 wheel parts for a replacement? Can I call the customer’s service for that?

Thank you very much for your nice support!

By the way, the v2.0 circuit board is such a nice product!

It’s a “press fit” - the axle is slightly larger than the hole and it needs to be pressed in using force (ensure you have it aligned correctly). One end of the axle has a spline for servos while the other has an opening for a double-D shaft. The wheels are also press-fit onto the motor’s shaft.

The omniwheels should have included screws to attach them to the motor shaft, though we have had one customer recently indicate that they were not included with the package. Can you confirm you received them?

We have been in contact with Dagu and they are looking for replacement screws for these omniwheels, which means our current inventory unfortunately does not include any mounting screws.
