How to ground a car, how to recharge a powersupply

Hi,

I am new in this forum (its actually my first post) and new to robotic and I have a basic question for you.

its my first robot I try to do, maybe I should have google it more before buying for almost everything. I try to make a little remote car. I want to brake, go right, go left and drive with the little car.

I buy this power supply PoPower12-25 12V 25W Switching Power Supply

to make the power for an engine and 3 servos that will never be used in the same time and later an arduino thing for control.
This engine (https://ca.robotshop.com/fr//products/e-s-motor-moteur-dc-sans-balais-a2212-5t-2450kv-pour-quadricopteres-rc-avions-bateaux-vehicules-kits-diy )and those servos (https://ca.robotshop.com/fr//products/servomoteur-mg995-rc-servo-20-kg-metal-gear-servo-4x)

How I should recharge my power supply?
How I should plug the engine, should I just need to ground it since its a 3 phase, do I need a screw in a special metal to ground my car?

thanks for those answer. have a great day.

Hi @Charley007 and welcome to our forum.

I am glad to hear about your interest in robotics and about your project.

However, this power supply is maybe not a good choice for a remote car. This power supply is not good for robots/cars that will move, since you will be limited with the cable (this power supply needs to be connected to AC power).

Better choice for a remote car would be to choose a battery as a source of power:

For mobile robots, you’ll need a battery (like a LiPo) for portability, not the power supply.
