I was looking at the Rb-Dev-17 that does USB to I2C in the shop, but I am not sure if it will do SMBUS (which I know is a subset of I2C). Has anyone on here had any luck doing that (or at least know of some other small board)?
Thanks

Thank you, that was pretty much what I was thinking, but surprisingly I couldn’t find a whole lot of people out there speaking to the topic. Guess it is worth a gamble.
Thanks.

According to Maxim, I2C and SMBUS are “essentially compatible”. We have not tested this.
Yes, it is worth a shot. Please do let us know about your findings.
