How to build a colour sensor robot?

  im totally new to this kind of topic and im asked to build a colour sensing car than is able to change its direction while moving based on detecting 3 different colour label on its path.

  i have done a lot researches, and i feel like 'oh ■■■■■ i cant understand a thing...', btw, i have no experience on programming

  any suggestions for what kind of colour sensor should i use??   or any helpful post??  please help!! really appreciate!!!!

Theres one on the front page

Have a look at Markus’s Miabot which is on the front page. He does a good job of explaining how the color sensor works.
Maybe you should try collaborating with some of the other students if you don’t know where to start.
